Angel Forrest's musical journey began in 1988 and has since spanned over three decades and counting. Her debut album, Secondhand Blues, introduced a collection of timeless classics, while her tribute show to the iconic Janis Joplin thrust Angel into the spotlight. Her powerful live performance was immortalized in the album Angel Sings Janis Live.
Following this success, her first original album, Here for You, sold over 30,000 copies, paving the way for a string of critically acclaimed releases, including the award-winning Come Alive, Mother Tongue Blues, and Angel's 11, as well as Electric Love. Her Juno-nominated album Hell Bent with Grace further solidified her status in the industry, and her most recent release, Angel’s 11 Vol II, topped charts worldwide.
The Montreal-based artist has been honored as Female Vocalist of the Year by the Toronto Blues Society seven times between 2013 and 2020, and was named Songwriter of the Year in both 2014 and 2016. A finalist at the 2018 Memphis International Blues Challenge, Angel’s versatile voice spans the full spectrum of blues, rock, and country.
