Major: Blues Repertoire. Too many people think of blues as simply a generic 12 bar form, but really the blues genre is rich with real songs , that have specific melodies and progressions. Just like jazz, there are certain standard forms and certain blues standards that the aspiring blues musician should know. This course will focus on learning some important blues standards, and some simple but important blues forms.
