For the intermediate guitar player, this class will be an introduction to playing (bottleneck style) slide guitar and a study of the open D tuning. Topics covered will include damping, vibrato and slide control as well as lots of chords, licks and tricks in open D tuning. There will be some fingerpicking styles taught as well. Students will need to bring their own slides to this class. Lessons will include songs and scales.
