This class will be an introduction to the alternating thumb style of guitar playing that is the basis of much of the classic acoustic blues repertoire by artists like Mississippi John Hurt, Big Bill Broonzy and many others. We will also look at the 'thumping' thumb style used by the likes of Lightnin' Hopkins and John Lee Hooker.
