Hornby Blues Scholarships

Do you have an interest in blues music? Would you like to take classes from some of Canada’s best Blues musicians? The Hornby Island Blues Society has two scholarships available for teenage or young adults to attend our May 2012 blues camp.

The camp runs from May 7th to May 11th . The scholarship includes: three days of hands-on learning the blues; acoustic and electric concerts performed by the instructors; meals during the workshop; a chance to perform on stage yourself; membership in The Blues Society; and so much fun!

If you are interested, please write a letter to the Hornby Island Blues Society, telling us about yourself and why you feel we should consider you for the scholarship. Applicants need to have some prior knowledge of music. Applications can be sent to:
