Hornby Island Blues Workshop



2013 Workshop Schedule


Cost $550

Includes tuition for one Major class and three Minor classes, admission to all concerts, lunch Tuesday-Friday, dinner Monday-Thursday, and a membership to the Hornby Island Blues Society. Limited space is available for companions to purchase a ticket for lunch, dinner, or a concert, if arranged in advance. Please note that accommodation is not included.

Workshop Start

Monday, May 6. Hornby Community Hall, 3 to 5:00PM.
Students check in and receive their registration kits that contain their personalized schedule, and everything needed for the workshop days. A delicious dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7:00. At around 8:00PM, the workshop instructors will introduce themselves and their class plans.

Meals

Workshop fees include lunch and dinner daily. Lunch is served from Noon - 1:00PM, and dinner from 5:30 to 7:00 PM, at Seabreeze Lodge. Please note that breakfast is not included.

Concerts

Instructors Intro: Monday May 6, 8PM
Workshop instructors will demonstrate what they plan to teach. Students only.
Acoustic Concert: Tuesday May 7, 8PM
The instructors perform, concert seating. Some tickets available to the public.
Electric Dance: Wednesday May 8, 8PM
The instructors perform, dance time! Some tickets available to the public.
Student Concert: Thursday May 9, 8PM
Workshop students have a chance to show off what they've learned and play with the instructors. Students only.
