For the May 2013 camp HIBS is also pleased to announce the first appearance by BRANDON ISAAK a,k.a. Yukon Slim. Continually recognized as one of Canada’s best new song writers, Isaak’s love for traditional acoustic blues and vintage “lo fi” sound is well balanced with his frontman work with the Vancouver Jump band The Twisters. No doubt his work with the likes of Corey Harris, Guy Davis, Taj Mahal, Colin Linden, and Jeff Healy will find its way into his camp instruction, and that’s great news for all of us.
